INGA PAKALNIŠKYTĖ

Advising business owners, shareholders and private clients on complex legal and strategic matters.

Inga Pakalniškytė - a business lawyer with over 25 years of experience.

I help business owners and shareholders make strategically important decisions – from designing business structures and shareholders’ agreements to business transfers, succession planning, and the preservation and transfer of family wealth. I also advise on commercial transactions and assist in resolving disputes between transaction parties through arbitration and mediation.

Clients value my ability to combine deep legal knowledge, business understanding and open, trust-based dialogue. My focus is not on the process itself, but on achieving the desired result.

Throughout my professional career, I have implemented numerous complex transactions and projects, including acquisition transactions involving UAB “Laisvas ir nepriklausomas kanalas”; AB “Gubernija”; AB “ALITA”; 40% of shares in AB “LĖVUO”; 51% of shares in UAB “MEDIAFON”; and others.

I have also advised on sale transactions involving Hotel “Neringa”, UAB “Birštono mineraliniai vandenys” ir Ko, Mediafon Mobi, UAB and others; the optimisation of the MV GROUP structure; the organisation and coordination of legal processes related to the exit of a Lithuanian-capital group of companies from sanctioned markets; and the structural compliance assessment of a globally operating credit institution.

I have served as a member of boards and supervisory boards of major companies, including AB “STUMBRAS”, AB “ALITA”, UAB “MG Baltic Media”, UAB “MITNIJA” and VšĮ “Socialiniai paramos projektai”.

In representing clients before the courts, I have contributed to the development of case law on matters relating to directors’ liability, the application of tax incentives, and the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.

I am a practising commercial disputes arbitrator and am included in the list of recommended arbitrators of the Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration.

For more than ten years, I taught civil procedure law at Mykolas Romeris University and Vilnius University.
